Date Night and Fighting for Your Family Marriage Conference

Sunday, April 12

3:00—9:00 PM

at Malvern Hill Baptist Church

Get ready for an intentional, information-packed afternoon featuring three powerful sessions:

—The Battle for Leadership

—The Fight for Intimacy

—The Battle for Our Lives

It’s not all "work," though! We’ll laugh together with professional comedian Chris Ruppe and enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Hail Street Grill.

The purpose of this conference is to equip you to engage in spiritual warfare for your family—to learn to fight for your family instead of against them.

Spiritual warfare is a reality, and just as it is real in your personal life and in your local church, spiritual warfare is real in your family.

The purpose of this conference is to equip you to engage in spiritual warfare for your family—to learn to fight for your family instead of against them.

Pastor Craig Thompson wants to teach you how to fight and engage in spiritual warfare for—and alongside—your family, through engaging sessions filled with practical tips and real-life experiences. Spiritual warfare is real, and life can be hard, but this conference will give you space to slow down, learn, gather tools and resources for fighting the attacks of the enemy, and build relationships with others who are in the trenches with you. Participants will receive a free copy of Fighting for Your Family, the newest book by Pastor Craig, released in October 2025.

During the conference, you will be entertained by comedian Chris Ruppe, a seasoned comedian who brings laughter to diverse audiences across corporate settings, theaters, churches, and charity events. Known for his clean comedy, Chris draws on his unique life experiences, sharing touching yet hilarious insights from his upbringing. As an adoptive parent, his comedy also delves into the joys and challenges of adoption, and he finds humor in the crazy observations of daily life.

Restaurants

For lunch on Saturday, you are free to eat at the restaurant of your choice. You will be provided with a few discussion questions so you can reflect on the morning sessions. Hold hands, stroll downtown, and enjoy lunch as a couple or with a small group.

We suggest you use a map to locate the restaurant of your choice.
