Easter at Malvern Hill

We believe that the message of the gospel is a reason to hope, and we want to reach the people of Kershaw County (and around the world!) with that hope. 


We believe the church is not a building: it is a family. We seek to be a community that makes a positive difference in the world around us with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Behold Your King, Worship Night

Sunday, March 22, 6:00 PM

Easter is our reason to hope! Because Jesus is alive, we have the promised assurance of eternal life for those who believe, call upon his name, and are saved. This is reason to celebrate! Come, worship with us and "Behold Your King!"


Good Friday Service

Friday, April 3, 6:30 PM

Our Good Friday service is a solemn service focused on the Lord's Supper, Scripture reading, and prayer. 


A Reason to Hope, Easter Worship Services

Sunday, April 5, 8:30 and 11:00 AM

Our Easter Service is a celebration service focused on the new life we have available to us because of the sacrifice of Jesus. He conquered death, hell, and the grave. Jesus is our reason to hope! Come and celebrate our risen Lord and Savior with us!

Special Easter Activities

  • Preschool Egg Hunt

    Wednesday, March 25

    6:30-7:30 PM

    The preschoolers will have an egg hunt during the regular Wednesday evening activities. 

    Children should bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs. 

  • All Access Egg Hunt

    Wednesday, March 25

    6:30-7:30 PM

    All Access will have an egg hunt, crafts, and activities during the regular Wednesday evening service time. 

    Children should meet in the All Access room and bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs.

  • Flashlight Egg Hunt

    Friday, March 20

    6:00-8:00 PM

    Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade will meet in the gym for a flashlight egg hunt. 

    Children should bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs. 


Each week, we have a number of opportunities for our children to experience ways that they can grow in their understanding of God and their relationship with Him. Our children's worship, children's LifeGroup, and kids' discipleship classes feature age-appropriate lessons, activities, and worship.
