ReFocus
The congregation voted to approve the ReFocus Team's proposal on Sunday, June 7, with 96% in favor. Thank you for your faithfulness and support of the ministries of Malvern Hill as we seek to love God, love others, and change the world, including right here in Kershaw County.
The new construction will allow us to:
• Expand facilities for all youth and children
• Expand education facilities for adults
• Expand office space
• Plan for the future by laying out the 30-year site plan
The construction documents will provide plans to construct a
2- story building, which will include:
• 13,000 square feet of space on each floor
• A secure check-in area with educational space and a worship space for our children's ministry on the first floor
• Additional classroom space on the 2ª floor (The exact use of the second story will be determined at a later date.)
The approximate cost of constructing the building will be $5-5.2 million.
• Approximate monthly mortgage will be $27,000
(The actual mortgage amount will be determined based on interest rates at that time.)
